Coordinating a first ever PRIDE Parade in June 2020 during a pandemic wasn’t an easy task, but we overcame such obstacles and drove around our beloved city.

With great support from the City of Laredo, the media, our LGBTQ+ community, family and friends, we decided to form Gateway City Pride Association to build bridges within the diverse communities of Laredo through special events such as an annual PRIDE PARADE AND FESTIVAL.

Amazing board members and allied organizations make up Gateway City Pride Association who are driven to make further progress for our home we call Laredo.

This has been an exciting journey for our board to coordinate a first ever PRIDE Festival and continue the PRIDE Parade. We hope to release more information soon as we finalize our plans.
